Funding: Salisbury Mayor’s Appeal

3. Stage '65 workshop at Salisbury PlayhouseThe Mayor’s Appeal – Would £1,000 Help Your Group?
The Mayor of Salisbury, in conjunction with the Wiltshire Community Foundation has raised funds to support local grass root community projects and voluntary groups in Salisbury. The Salisbury Diamond Jubilee Fund will make grants every year. They are looking to make grants to organisations based in and serving Salisbury. You must be made up of, or be helping people who are disadvantaged in some way. (Disabled people, older people, people living in an area of deprivation, people from minority communities for example). You can apply for help with project costs, equipment or outings. To apply you must be a group with a committee, a constitution or set of rules and a bank account in the name of the group with a minimum of 2 signatories. They are unable to offer grant to groups who have more than 12 months running costs in reserve. If you are working with children or vulnerable people you will need to send them a Child Protection/Vulnerable Persons Policy. If you are just starting out and need help with the above, they may still be able to fund you. Please call 01380 729284 to discuss. In the first instance go to http://www.wscf.org.uk and fill in the expression of interest form on their home page or call 01380 729 284.
