The Enterprise Network (TEN) initiative is a positive collaboration between Swindon & Wiltshire LEP and Wiltshire Council. TEN is a major new project to create a network of business incubators and work spaces across Wiltshire and Swindon. In taking a new approach to rural economic development TEN will nurture businesses with growth potential through their formative stages, raise the entrepreneurial confidence and ambition of the rural community, and those with links to the military.
TEN’s central hub is located at the Castledown Enterprise Centre in Ludgershall. It has just opened and provides a full range of services that include: start-up business space with on-site business support, networking space, meeting rooms, hot-desking, free parking, WI-FI and also super speed broadband. Over the next two years, TEN will open more enterprise centres in North Bradley, central Salisbury, Royal Wootton Bassett, and up to four further sites yet to be decided.
TEN Investments – In addition to these new facilities and business support, there is £1m of dedicated funding purely to invest in Wiltshire’s rural businesses, from the rural economy grant scheme read more here
