The event will celebrate the work already happening in our communities as well as providing an opportunity to learn more about sustainability, social mapping, economy, tourism and the heritage of Wiltshire. Our keynote speaker is ffinlo Costain, talking on Renewable Energy Options for Wiltshire plus there will be sessions run by Hidden Britain, The RSA, Lackham College, Wiltshire Heritage Museum. They’ll also be stalls, demonstrations and activities making for an informal day in the beautiful, rural surroundings of Lackham House.
The event is free and open to all. We’ll be providing lunch and refreshments plus the bar will also be open in the afternoon. They’ll be the chance to try something different and play croquet on the lawn! – thanks to the Kington Langley Croquet Club. We’ve organised a plant & seed swap plus we’re encouraging people, in the community spirit, to bake a cake for our afternoon cake share.
As places are limited we’re asking people to please use this link to register.
We really hope you’ll be able to make it and look forward to seeing you there.
