The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) helps employers make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups, including children. DBS was established when the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) merged in 2012. A number of significant changes have been introduced that voluntary sector organisations need to understand to ensure compliance with the new regulations. Develop are providing a half day training course in association with WASP for just £50 on Tuesday 16 July in Chippenham from 10 – 1. To book your place please contact DEVELOP on 0845 034 5250 or email training@developecs.org.uk
