AFPTraining courses from Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy.

AFP are currently offering training opportunities in:

Trustee Leadership in Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy – intensive half-day trustee leadership seminars in arts fundraising and philanthropy

Understanding Fundraising and Philanthropy – a range of full-day training courses to develop skills in different aspects of arts fundraising practice

Fostering an Enterprise Culture – a range of full-day training courses to help develop a more entrepreneurial approach to income generation in the arts

Each of these courses has been designed for participants within three broad groups:

Group 1: People involved in, or wanting to learn about, fundraising, as part of their general professional arts activity, whether they are based in an organisation or freelance. Fees for these courses are £75 plus VAT.

Group 2: People working in a team with between one and three dedicated fundraising/development staff. Fees for these courses are £95 plus VAT.

Group 3: People working in a team with four or more dedicated fundraising/development staff. Fees for these courses are £150 plus VAT.

An Introduction to Donor Networking and Relationship Management

Frances Tipper will show participants a valuable method of developing new business relationships and the skills to manage them to achieve their goals.

Wednesday 29th January, Colston Hall, Bristol

This course is designed for people who are freelancers or working in small companies.  Course cost is £75 plus VAT.

 

Digital Fundraising 1: Tools and Techniques for Organisations which sell tickets for events

Sarah Gee provides pragmatic advice on how best to tackle digital fundraising, and how to integrate it into your overall strategy.  

Thursday 9th January, Poole Lighthouse

This course is designed for people working in small to medium-sized organisations who are involved in ticketed arts activity.  Course cost is £95 plus VAT.

 

Developing Strong Individual Donor Relationships and Networks

Patricia Castanha’s course will help refine your organisation’s case for support for individual donors and lead you through the ‘seven steps’ of individual fundraising.

Wednesday 12th February, Colston Hall, Bristol

This course is designed for people working in small to medium-sized organisations or within a small dedicated fundraising team.  Course cost is £95 plus VAT.

 

Please note, the Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy Programme is funded through Arts Council England’s Catalyst lottery programme. Its primary focus is to benefit the development of the arts in England. We are therefore currently not able to offer places on seminars to individuals from the museums and libraries sector.
