Training: Wiltshire Music Connect – “Outcomes Training”

The free “Outcomes Training” for Wiltshire Music Connect members  is  now confirmed for Friday 3rd October 10am to 4pm at Wiltshire Music Centre, Bradford on Avon. We’re pairing up with Youth Music and their highly rated Music’s outcomes training package for Wiltshire Music Connect ‘members’ (those subscribed to our mailing lists and active within the county).

Whether you’re developing you school’s music plan  making a funding application or trying to explain the impact your work has, the ‘language’ of outcomes is a strong and valuable tool. We will be linking this to a set of outcomes developed for Wiltshire Music Connect, ones which you may want to adopt.

This training is timely for at least 2 reasons:

  1. Youth Music are refreshing their funding programme and their outcomes guidance, so anyone looking to them for funding will find the course particularly useful.
  2. Wiltshire Music Connect is adopting a set of its own outcomes and later will be confirming its evaluation framework to accompany them –  a version of which will, we hope, be available for members to adopt if they haven’t got their own.

The course should be suitable for music practitioners as well as music project/programme  managers and music leaders. We want to create a good balance so, depending on demand, we may have to limit the number of free places per organisation.

Book your place online.  Please note that whilst places on this course are free we will levy a charge to anyone who books and then doesn’t take up their place without giving a decent amount of notice!

You can join Wiltshire Music Connect online.
