Over the last few years there has been a marked increase in the number of artists who have moved from a contemporary art gallery practice to mainstream global cinema as well as filmmakers shifting in the other direction to gallery practice and presentation. This event explores the barriers and synergies, similarities and differences between the two contexts. Contributors include artists, curators and representatives of the British Film community.
