Healthwatch Wiltshire (HWW) was successful in winning some grant funding from the Wiltshire Innovation Fund. We have invited Wiltshire and Swindon Users’ Network (WSUN) to work in partnership with us to use this grant funding to commission an artist, a collaboration of artists or an arts organisation to deliver a creative project with service users. The project must focus on reflecting the experience of elderly service users and their unpaid carers who are consumers of both health and social care services. Please see the attached information for further details.
The aim of the project is to produce an arts project that is innovative and transformative – that can be showcased to commissioners of health and social care locally and nationally, to help them better understand the experiences of older adults using health and social care services and their unpaid carers, and to challenge the commissioners to think about how they can do things differently.
We are inviting applications from artists, a collaboration of artists or an arts organisation to deliver the project. The applications will be assessed by a panel of service users and lay people so please ensure that you describe in plain and clear English what you propose to do to help deliver this innovative project.
The budget for this commission is £5,000 and the timescale for the project is a maximum of six months from commissioning.
