Training: Outdoor Art Events Production – 2-day course

Need help planning? Don’t understand the paperwork? Not sure how to deal with ‘access’ to your event?

This October DAT (Dorset Arts Trust) and Activate are running a two day course, aimed at existing (or emerging) Producers /Project Managers /Creative Producers /Directors /Production Managers /Technicians or arts practitioners who cover several of these roles.

You may already be working in outdoor events, or you may be interested in putting events on?

The course will feature experienced and dynamic facilitators and will include practical exercises alongside structured learning sessions, giving participants templates and toolkits and the added confidence to produce safe, well-planned and accessible outdoor events – large or small.

Day 1: Event Management Planning – Friday 16th October

Day 2: Access and Diversity – Friday 23rd October

Time/location: 10.00am until 5pm / 5th Floor learning suite, Poole Museum, 4 High Street, Poole, BH15 1BW

Full 2 day course: £60 / £40 concessions

Places are very limited to 20 in total – book early to avoid disappointment. Bookings will only be accepted for the full 2-day course.

The workshops have been put together by Activate and The Arts Development Company and will be delivered by production and diversity specialists in this field.
