The BBC would like to hear from music organisations interested in getting involved. BBC Music Day takes place on Friday 3 June 2016 and our theme is collaboration, across musical genres and featuring all kinds of musical instruments, from the most innovative digital creation to the most traditional; from a cello or bass guitar to a home-made carrot clarinet! And like this year, BBC Music Day 2016 will aim to connect communities and generations with an inspirational celebration of music across the UK.
This year we worked with over 50 partners and reached an audience of over 15 million on TV, Radio and online.
If you’re planning a concert or event for June 3rd, why not join us under the umbrella of BBC Music Day? Or perhaps you’d like to organise a bespoke musical celebration for Music Day? Please get in touch if you want to find out more – we’d love to hear from you at BBCMusicDay@bbc.co.uk
