This is an exciting new role in Bristol Grammar School with the new Performing Arts Centre (PAC) due for completion in August 2016. The centre will be used extensively for learning and for performances. It will include a new theatre, a drama teaching space, dance studio, a recording studio, and a recital hall. The role has broad and wide-ranging administrative and operational responsibilities for the general day to day running of the PAC and is pivotal in the development of how the Centre is used.
Duties will include managing the annual programme of events, providing production support for School performances, acting as House Manager for all PAC events and taking responsibility for technical and operational activities. The post holder will be required to build links with community performing art groups and national theatre, dance and music production / performance companies to develop a public programme of visiting professional companies and external performing arts groups.
