In this exciting workshop opportunity, performers, theatre makers and arts professionals with a commitment to outdoor arts will work with Teatr Biuro Podrózy to explore their process of making performance.
Date: Sunday 28th August 2016 – Wednesday 31st August 2016
Venue: 101 Outdoor Arts Creation Space (venue website here)
Teatr Biuro Podrózy’s previous production ‘Carmen Funebre’ was based on interviews with victims of the Balkans Wars in 1993-4 and explored the impact of war on civilians. The company returns to this theme with their new production, Silence, which combines physical theatre, fire, unusual staging, puppetry and music, and picks up the continuing story of refugees and migrants caught up in a spiral of war, fences and the dream of escape.
As part of a three day intensive residential workshop programme at 101 Outdoor Arts Creation Space on Greenham Common, a small group of participants will be led by principal artists from Teatr Biuro Podró y through their process of making performance.
