Opportunity: Programming Associate, The Arts Development Company, Dorset

The Arts Development Company has been successful in bringing in 3 years of funding for the benefit of creative individuals and businesses in Dorset, Bournemouth & Poole, funded by the Arts Council Creative Local Growth Fund. There are 4 distinct yet interconnected strands to the programme – Festivals, Cultural Tourism, Business and Skills Development and the Visual Arts Market Place.

Outcomes of the programme include retaining graduate talent in the area through start up’s, growing leadership at all levels, creating new jobs, signposting to business grants and loans and diversifying the creative sector workforce.   Aspects of the programme will be led by sector specialists, trainers, artists, consultants, workshop leaders and facilitators and will involve the delivery of a mentoring scheme, training and skills development and networking opportunities.

Some of this work will be delivered on a bespoke 1 to 1 basis, some through team training and a mixture of face to face and virtual support. The company is now building a list of preferred suppliers and we require specialists in a number of areas.   If there is a service you can offer or drawing on a particular aspect of your own experience and knowledge which you can bring to the programme – we would love to hear about it.
