Opportunity: Salisbury Museum seek artists to run workshops and after school clubs for young people

The Salisbury Museum is looking for artists to take part in a project working with young people, which will be funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund Young Roots Grant.

The City Story Project will enable young people to explore the Salisbury History and Costume collections at the museum through art. The project will include day workshops as well as after school clubs for young people and an exhibition of the work produced will be mounted at the Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre in autumn 2017. The project is due to start in September.

Katy England from the museum is looking for several different artists to run the workshops with young people. The workshops will be paid work and there is also an additional budget for materials. Please contact KatyEngland@SalisburyMuseum.org.uk for further details.
