Aviva’s 2016 Community Fund will open for applications on 13 September 2016. Community organisations can apply for funding of £1,000 to £25,000 for projects in one of the six categories:
- Health, disability and well-being
- Supporting the younger generation
- Supporting the older generation
- Community support
- Sport in the community
- Environment in association with the Mirror.
Applicants will need support from the community for their application in the form of votes and the most voted for applications will go through to the final to be judged. The fund is open to anyone over the age of 18 living in the UK. If the applicant is under the age of 18 and wishes to submit an entry to the Awards, they must provide the consent of an appropriate adult associated with the project they are entering. The funding levels that can be applied for are:
- Up to £1,000;
- up to £5,000
- Up to £10,000
- Up to £25,000.
Submission of entries ends at 12noon on the 11 October 2016.
