Training: Safeguarding Awareness for Music Leaders

Safeguarding  Awareness for Music Leaders.

November 2nd or November 8th 2016, 4pm-6pm.

This is a useful, practical session to help build your confidence and knowledge about working safely with children and young people when delivering music lessons, sessions, or workshops.

As well as general child protection the session explores safeguarding issues which specifically relate to music workshop and education settings.

At the end of the session participants will have all the information they need to assess how they work and produce their own practical framework for good, safe practice.

Suitable for both beginners and more experienced  tutors wanting to check they are up to date with their practice and knowledge, and find out about further, more detailed development opportunities.

*This is free for music leaders / tutors / teachers working with children and young people in Wiltshire. If you work outside of Wiltshire please get in touch for payment details.
