Opportunity: Musical Cluster Coordinator (p/t) – Devizes

Wiltshire Music Connect - logo2Wiltshire Music Connect is developing 12 Musical Clusters across Wiltshire. These are initially be based around groupings of existing school clusters but will be quickly broadened to include a wider musical community – tutors, providers, venues etc. The purpose of this is to recognise a need for localised approaches and networks that bring life to the Hub’s county-wide strategy and its overarching outcomes.

Working with local stakeholders we’re now supporting the recruitment of a Cluster Coordinator for…

  • Devizes – approx 19 schools + other providers. Equivalent of 13 days initially from Jan 2017 to end Dec 2017 (subject to renewal). Queries to Martin Stewart in the Wiltshire Music Connect Team.

Do you have the ability to bring people together and to encourage the development of good and outstanding music provision in different settings?

We’re looking for a well organised and efficient people who can communicate well with a range of stakeholders and who have a clear understanding of the value of music and its benefits for children and young people.

Cluster Coordinators could be a range of people inc. Teachers, Freelance Musicians / Music Leaders or Parents.  Their coordination role could be a secondment (time within an existing post) or a new freelance contract.
