Artlift is a Gloucestershire based charity that brings together professional artists with hundreds of people every year who are diagnosed with a range of health issues, from cancer to depression, with proven health benefits.
Artlift has achieved remarkable growth, impact and recognition since being formally constituted in 2012. We are funded largely through NHS Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group, Local Authorities and Trusts and Foundations.
With a team of 14 freelance staff and artist facilitators, and three core staff members, last year Artlift delivered over 2000 sessions, improving the well being of hundreds of participants across Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
Based from your home office, with regular meetings across Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, the Executive Director will be responsible for realising Artlift’s strategic and operational plans and developing the work of the charity, its people and partnerships.
The successful candidate will have senior level experience in the charity/nonprofit sector, inspirational leadership and management skills, and experience of business and partnership development. He/she will be able to pursue the mission and objectives of Artlift with demonstrable passion, drive and commitment.
Fee: This role is offered on a freelance basis at £145 per day., 2 days per week/8 days per month for a 12 month fixed contract period, with the possibility of extending hours from April 2017, depending on funding.
