Funding: Making Music – Philip and Dorothy Green Young Artists Awards

The Philip and Dorothy Green Young Artists (PDGYA) awards have helped kick start the careers of artists including Steven Isserlis, Elizabeth Watts and Craig Ogden, by providing up-and-coming classical musicians with performing opportunities with Making Music’s 3,200+ member groups.

Award winners are promoted to members with subsidised rates (£150 of the artist’s £250 fee, and £100 of any accompanist’s £250 fee is covered by Making Music) for up to 50 engagements.

Applications are now open for the 2017 awards. Candidates must be EU citizens, UK residents and available for engagements in the UK from mid-2017 to mid-2019. The age range for all applicants is 21 to 27 on or before 1 April 2017.

Full details of how to apply are online.

Deadline: 5pm, Friday 24 February 2017
