Opportunity: Evaluator for the new Artist Coordinator Role and Arts Programme at Witney Community Hospital, West Oxfordshire

West Oxfordshire District Council requires the services of an experienced evaluator to evaluate the benefits and impact of the new role of Artist Coordinator at Witney Community Hospital in West Oxfordshire. Deadline: Noon on 5th January 2017.

The purpose of the Artist Coordinator is to introduce regular creative interventions at the Community Hospital with the intention of enhancing the patient, staff and carer experience and sense of wellbeing.  It is funded from developer contributions in support of art in a public context.

With at least 5 years’ experience in evaluating arts and health projects and programmes, the evaluator will need to possess a range of qualitative and quantative evaluation methods and techniques for use.  As well as assessing outcomes, the evaluator will be required to undertake process evaluation to assess what went well and what challenges were encountered.

The evaluator is required to work with and support the Artist Coordinator in gathering and presenting evidence.  It is envisaged that the evaluation will take place at agreed times over 2 years.  There is a budget of £5,000 inclusive of all costs.

How to Apply:
