The 60,000 capacity festival based in Winchester is in its eighth year.
Boomown is in a very exciting phase of development and is looking for an experienced individual to lead in the role of License Coordinator. The post would be based part time in the Bristol office. Depending upon the experience of the candidate there is the potential for development in year two into a more strategic and managerial position, which oversees some key contracts such as medical, health and safety and noise management. The License Coordinator would also be based at the festival on site for at least two weeks in August each year.
The primary focus of this role would be to ensure delivery of the Event Management Plan and to develop and build relations with the South Downs National Park Authority who have granted planning permission for the event. The role also includes: overseeing the bars licensing administration; facilitating meetings with the Safety Advisory group; organizing the annual Table Top exercise; overseeing the Traffic Management Plan and the Noise Management Plan and facilitating Event Control.
