Job: Development Manager, Hampshire Cultural Trust

Hampshire Cultural Trust champions world-class culture and exists to showcase, connect and empower Hampshire’s creative economy. The independent charity works collaboratively to bring organisations, people and ideas together for greater impact.

The trust is looking for an experienced and motivated Development Manager to develop and drive our fundraising programme. The programme involves securing major grant funding from trusts and foundations and high quality research to identify significant sources of funding.  The Development Manager will primarily secure capital and revenue funding for the organisation, as well as managing our business development initiatives which deliver crucial revenue streams for the trust.

Working closely with the Director of Communications and Development, the post-holder will have an opportunity use their skills and experience to shape the future strategy of our fund raising strategy;  creating, building and maintaining long-term relationships and leading on the communication and participation of major donors at every level.

You will be a highly motivated self-starter with a professional, flexible and positive approach.  You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with no impact on quality and creativity.
