Iford Arts (just outside of Bradford on Avon) produces a Festival of Opera, Concerts and Proms in the beautiful gardens of Iford Manor.
We are seeking an efficient organiser with a background in singing, an active interest in classical music, proven organisational and interpersonal skills, plus a commitment to young people, and, ideally, a creative imagination. This person will be required to manage our planned Education project for Primary School children, which will culminate during the Iford Arts festival in summer 2017. The person appointed will also take responsibility for the day to day administration and some event coordination of our Young Artists scheme 2017 for young singers, with several planned small scale events in the pipeline.
This will be a part-time post carrying a fixed fee contracted from February to August 2017.
- The education project approx. 15 days work
- The Young Artists Programme approx. 22 days work
- This work can be undertaken remotely with the expectation of a minimum of 5 hours a week to be worked in our offices just outside of Bradford on Avon, plus any site, school visits taking place outside of this time.
- Flexibility will be required on both sides.
