Do you have a brilliant idea for a short film? Would you like training, mentorship, funding and a professional crew to help you make it? How about seeing it showcased on Sky Arts?
SHORTFLIX is aimed at aspiring new filmmakers aged 18-25 who are not currently in full-time education, employment or training. We’re looking for ideas from creative, talented and ambitious young people that have the potential to make great short films for Sky Arts.
No previous professional experience or study of film production is required and participation is free. Selected filmmakers will receive support at every stage from industry professionals.
To be in with a chance to take part, all you have to do is apply with:
- A pitch outlining your story and your vision for the film
- A short personal statement about yourself and why you’d like to make a film
- A link to any previous creative work (e.g. link to a video/recording or piece of writing)
Interested in applying? Please read the guidelines online and email us at email@example.com if you have any questions or would like support to complete your application.
