Job: Lettings and Volunteer Coordinator, Town Hall Arts, Trowbridge

town-hall-artsTown Hall Arts is a centre for arts, culture and heritage learning based at Trowbridge Town Hall. Town Hall Arts is funded by Arts Council England, Wiltshire Council and Trowbridge Town Council to deliver a programme of professional performance, visual art, participation and heritage learning. The work of Town Hall Arts includes hosting professional touring theatre and dance, exhibiting visual arts throughout the year, supporting the artists shop and artists café, running a number of performance, visual and literature based workshops, looking after the many people who hire space in the venue, as well as supporting activities out in the community and celebrating the amazing heritage of Town Hall Arts home, Trowbridge’s old Town Hall.

We are currently looking for a Lettings and Volunteer Co-ordinator to help us develop these vital elements of the organisation. This role is a very customer-focused one, often working from the Front Desk you will be the first impression many get of Town Hall Arts. You will also look after the many businesses and community groups that hire space in the Town Hall and will look after and develop our brilliant team of volunteers. You will be keen to find both new users and volunteers of the Town Hall and be passionate about making people feel welcome and appreciated.

Start date from Friday 17 March 2017 – It would be beneficial for the successful candidate to be available for a handover day on the week beginning 13 March 2017 if they are not available to start on that date.
