The Komedia idea is rooted in a love of live performance and a belief in its power to add to the sum of human happiness. At our core is a passion for exciting, bold and independent comedy and music but our programme spans the range of live entertainment including children’s theatre, cabaret, live literature and film.
The Head Technician provides pre-production support for all Komedia events and works closely with the Venue Manager, Deputy Venue Manager, external promoters and tour managers to ensure a seamless transition from booking to performance. The Head Technician is also responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repairs of all technical equipment and continuing to develop the venues capabilities in order to maintain its current high standards and stay at the forefront of the industry.
