Unincorporated collaborations launches a new artist’s residency program – The Mothership – in Dorset, from March 2016. This opportunity is for contemporary artists working in any media seeking the qualities of a secluded retreat and potential collaboration.
The residencies can range in length from a weekend to six weeks and should explore the following themes: climate change/weather, rural social/political, land/agriculture and childhood/parenthood/the domestic sphere.
Artists are invited to work independently on a project of their own choice. Work will be selected on the basis of current practice and there are no expectations of a presentation, although this can be facilitated.
Applications are open all year.
