Resource: Digital Update from Audience Agency

Katie Moffat, head of digital at the Audience Agency has circulated another newsletter with updates on what’s happening in the world of social media as relevant to the arts, culture museums and heritage sector. In this newsletter Katie mentions the following:

The Instagram addicts among you will have spotted that the latest update to the app gives users the option to add up to 10 images to one post. I can imagine lots of interesting ways this could be used to tell stories.

Facebook is now rating ❤️ s higher than 👍🏽 s on posts – which means that if your posts get more love than likes they’ll likely rank better.

Creative Commons has revamped their search function, which is super useful if you need rights free images.

Google Data Studio is a fantastic tool you can use to create dashboards from different data sources, for example Google Analytics. They’ve recently announced that it’s completely free for unlimited reports. It’s incredibly user friendly so well worth having a play around with it.
