Job: Project Manager, Hampshire Cultural Trust (Maternity Cover),

Hampshire Cultural Trust operates and funds 23 museums, galleries and arts centres across Hampshire. The trust proudly champions world-class culture and exists to showcase, connect and empower Hampshire’s creative economy.

Hampshire Cultural Trust is working in partnership with Fareham Borough Council and Hampshire County Council to develop Westbury Manor into an exciting culture stop in the heart of Fareham. The venue will undergo significant change, both externally and internally to transform it into a welcoming, stimulating and financially sustainable venue. The refurbished Westbury Manor will have a new purpose built café, shop, flexible space, artists’ studios, a temporary exhibitions gallery and permanent museum displays.

Fareham Borough Council is providing the funding for the redevelopment of the physical infrastructure which is project managed by Hampshire County Council Architects. Hampshire Cultural Trust has secured funding from Heritage Lottery Fund (Our Heritage strand) for the redevelopment of the permanent exhibition galleries.

The trust is seeking an experienced Project manager to take over the leading and management of this project and the range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a resilient problem solver with a pro-active approach to making sure that results are achieved in collaboration with the project partners.

Ths is a fixed term, maternity cover contract for 5 -6 months, starting as soon as possible.
