Project Development Worker – Celebrating Age

£25,000 pro rata 3 days per week (£15,000), 3 year contract

Wiltshire Music Centre is leading a partnership of the major cultural and heritage organisations in Wiltshire together with Age UK, Wiltshire County library service and Community First to deliver an innovative project of outreach work focused on cultural activity for the elderly in 6 locations across the county.

Working with the partners, the project worker will identify work that elderly groups in these communities would like to engage with and take part in locally.  The work will be delivered over a three year period.

The partnership is looking for an energetic arts development worker with experience in developing community projects for delivery locally by the partners and other arts, cultural and heritage organisations.  The delivery work may involve book readings, story-telling, creative writing, music and dance, singing groups, songwriting, heritage activities and theatre.
