The Wiltshire Rural Music School (WRMS) has been offering music making opportunities across Wiltshire since 1934. Within our rural remit we are currently rolling out a new scheme called ‘Music on your Doorstep’ where we are taking high quality music making opportunities to village communities across Wiltshire.
Ambassadors are extremely important to our rural outreach and research. We are currently seeking dedicated volunteers with a musical interest to join our team of friendly and approachable Ambassadors.
If you live in a village, enjoy music making and would like to see musical opportunities develop in your community, you could be just the person we are looking for!
The role requires networking/communicating with local groups, parish councils, and the general public to raise awareness of WRMS’s workshops and activities. You will also have the opportunity to shape bespoke musical activities to meet the needs of your community in collaboration with our Creative Director.
As this role is a volunteer role there is no remuneration package.
In return for your support, we can offer you the following benefits:
- The chance to work as part of a mature arts organisation moving into an exciting new era.
- The opportunity to attend workshops or events run by WRMS.
- Attend bi-annual Ambassador’s social meetings.
- Contribute to the development of WRMS’s future.
