Funding: Prince of Wales Award, Bath and West Society

The Prince of Wales Award is for Organisations and Initiatives run by the Community for the Community, and is Supported by The Duchy of Cornwall with the Royal Bath and West of England Society.

Open to organisations in the following counties: Bristol, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire and Gloucestershire.

This Award of £1,000 is open to community organisations, schools, colleges and groups which have, through their own initiative, brought about improvements to the lives of the rural population via projects with long term viability . The Award is intended to embrace a wide range of schemes where there has been a genuine attempt to move forward in a resourceful and inventive way to the benefit of a rural community.

The closing date for submissions is 10 April 2017. 

Shortlisting visits will take place between 1 and 10 May 2017.
