The work of The Roche Court Educational Trust has been recognised through two prestigious awards.
Emma Kerr, Head of Education, won the Marsh Award for Excellence in Gallery Education 2016 from Engage in recognition of her instrumental role underpinning all activities at the Trust by launching the learning framework ‘Looking, Thinking and Speaking’. The Award celebrates the hard work, dedication and innovation of colleagues working within the sector of gallery, museum and visual arts education.
The Trust has been awarded the South Wilts Mencap Betty Williams Award 2016 in recognition of the trust’s work with their members. Each year, the award is presented by Mencap to an organisation that has demonstrated an outstanding commitment through the activities provided to help people with learning disabilities to enjoy life more and develop their abilities.
