Training: Arts 4 Dementia – Early-Stage Dementia Awareness Training for Arts Facilitators and Organisations

Do you or a colleague want to create high quality arts events to stimulate, stretch and inspire people affected by early stage dementia? If you have a passion for art and want to help people with dementia and their carers lead fuller, more active lives then you will find the A4D training of immense value.

The training day, for artists, arts facilitators, education and development officers, researchers and volunteers alike, will teach you about Person-Centred Care and how to adapt your approach to enable you to lead outstanding workshops for families and professional carers affected by dementia.

The day offers arts and healthcare professionals the opportunity to gain fresh insight into cutting edge research on early stage dementia and the benefits of artistic stimulation for the recently diagnosed, as well as a chance to share best practice knowledge with leading practitioners in the field.
