Resource: ArtWorks Alliance’s Knowledge Bank

ArtWorks is made up of a group of organisations with strategic interests in participatory arts, including community arts, socially-engaged arts, voluntary arts, and arts in education and learning. We come together as ArtWorks Alliance to help participatory arts in the UK become better. A key feature of their website is the Knowledge Bank – a searchable archive of materials developed through ArtWorks, the Paul Hamlyn Foundation programme supporting training and professional development for artists working in participatory settings.

Two publications in their searchable Knowledge Bank focus on the learning and challenge around collaborative working which has informed the development of ArtWorks Alliance. ArtWorks Working Paper 10 explores the impact of collaborative working across and within ArtWorks pathfinders and Changing the Conversation Provocation 1 advocates that cross-sector collaboration is needed to support artists motivated by making a difference.

The published ArtWorks Alliance Bibliography lists all the items, with a brief description, all in one place.
