Training: Arts Award Discover and Explore, Wiltshire Music Conect

This course is being subsidised by Wiltshire Music Connect with support from Trinity College London for classroom teachers and music leaders who want to become Discover and Explore Arts Award advisers in Wiltshire.

It is suitable for KS 1 & 2 teachers and music leaders and schools, special schools and individuals working with children from ages 5-11, or older young people with special education needs.

To qualify for this free place, you should be planning to use Arts Award to accredit musical activity in your school or organisation in Wiltshire. (Although you can of course also use Arts Award for other art forms too)

Venue: Fairfield Farm College, Dilton Marsh, BA13 4DL

Date/time: Monday, 26 June 2017 from 1 to 5pm

This half day adviser training session includes planning time, and the trainer, Sally Clements, and Wiltshire Music Connect Development Manager Ruth Jones will give support so that you can get going with Arts Award as quickly as possible following the training.

You will also have access to the “Discover in a Day, Music: Teacher Guide” which can be used with First Access programmes, as well as one day music projects.
