Bath Festivals is on a transformational journey. In May 2017 we moved to a 10 day multi arts festival, achieving the highest combined sales of the separate Music and Literature festivals since 2012. The Children’s Literature Festival celebrated its 10th anniversary year in 2016 and continues to go from strength to strength. We are now deep into planning our 2018 17 day 70th Anniversary Festival.
We develop the highest quality artistic programmes, bringing international artists to our city that engage a wide section of our community and our visitors. Through diverse programming and innovative use of buildings and outdoor spaces, we bring our beautiful World Heritage City alive. Our Creative Learning programme is at the heart of the organisation and is fully integrated with our festivals work.
We are now looking for a Head of Marketing and Communications, with a proven track record of extensive experience in arts marketing to work with our small dynamic team and take forward the Festival’s marketing and communications operation, developing the appropriate marketing content to ensure Bath Festivals’ audiences, stakeholders, supporters and partners are brought closer to the heart of the organisation. The role will be required to lead a step change in the use of digital communications so that our festivals become amongst the most digitally-engaged and social media friendly festivals in the UK .
