We provide training in dance, drama and singing in both musical theatre and commercial styles. We aim to develop a child’s confidence whilst they learn new skills, make new friends and have fun in a safe and secure environment.
We require a dynamic and enthusiastic Drama tutor to train children aged 6-11 years. If you feel you have what it takes to inspire children to be the best they can be, get in touch today! The vacancy is part time on Saturday afternoons, usually in term time, with some extra hours or days in holiday periods.
The Job Requirements include but are not limited to:
-Working as part of a team committed to providing high quality performing arts training
-Coordinating all drama pieces for show numbers and preparing students for presentations
-Instructing students in both musical theatre and commercial styles
-Aptitude for creating and co-ordinating fresh, innovative material for termly presentations
-Experience of teaching and/or working with children and young people
-A passion for teaching and for the Performing Arts and for working with young children
-Preparing weekly and termly lesson plans. Attending staff meetings and contributing ideas for the forthcoming term
-Good organisational skills. Reliable and punctual
-An enhanced DBS check and references will be required. You will also need to apply for a Chaperone Licence
