The Kennet & Avon Canal Trust is looking for a Project Manager for a 2-year Heritage Lottery Funded project at Crofton Beam Engines near Marlborough in Wiltshire.
The successful candidate will be experienced and skilled in delivering HLF funded heritage projects, across capital and people outcomes, and working alongside volunteers.
Please note: this role is dependent on the Trust’s funding application being successful and HLF ‘Permission to Start’ being received. The Trust will not accept liability for any loss resulting from its inability to proceed.
The Trust intends to offer the successful candidate a daily fee between £300 and £400 (ex VAT) depending on the candidate’s experience and skills.
Applications are invited by letter or email explaining how applicants meet the requirements of the role and the evidence of previous projects that they are able to present. Applications should reach the trust by 25th August 2017 (the Trust may choose to extend this deadline at its discretion).
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for interview during the week of 11th September 2017 with a decision to appoint being made by 30th September 2017.
The successful candidate will be expected to start work from 1st November 2017.
