Resource: Digital Update from Audience Agency

Katie Moffat,  head of digital at the Audience Agency, has circulated another newsletter with updates on what’s happening in the world of social media as relevant to the arts, culture museums and heritage sector. In this newsletter Katie mentions the following:

“WhatsApp has over one billion daily active users and it’s about to start letting businesses use it to chat to customers. You can read a bit more analysis of the news here but suffice to say, as a result, it could well emerge as an important customer service channel.

For anyone currently pulling together a digital plan (we can help you with that by the way) and considering staff training needs, this is an excellent list of free resources to get you started.

……..although it’s a few years old now, this short guide, by the Tate, includes timeless tips for writing for the web.

When it comes to social sharing, audio has long been the poor relation of video, which is a shame since it can be such a rich medium. Fortunately, this new tool from Anchor could change that. And here are some other tools that can help you to make audio more shareable.”
