Wiltshire Music Centre (WMC) is offering an exceptional opportunity to join its vibrant team and make a strong contribution at the heart of a very special organisation, taking the integration of our engagement work with the Artistic Programme to the next level.
The role requires a strategic, efficient, experienced and ambitious arts leader with proven project and team management skills, a track record of delivering high quality music education and community engagement work, as well as an infectious commitment to the transformational role that live music can play in people’s lives.
The Head of Creative Learning and Community Engagement oversees the creation, planning, implementation, budgeting and evaluation of a portfolio of c. 30 projects per annum, working with a wide range of participants, stakeholders and partners in Wiltshire and beyond, and upholding WMC’s reputation for high quality delivery and engagement. The Head of Creative Learning and Community Engagement leads a fast-paced team of 3 staff members plus many freelance providers. The role stands at the heart of a rich and lively network of local, regional and national individuals and organisations, and the post holder is expected to demonstrate a holistic, collaborative, multi-dimensional approach to building sustainable engagement and partnerships.
Full Time, permanent role – Starting asap – £32,000-£36,000 p.a
