Training: Webinars – Creativity at the Heart of Wellbeing; How can the arts help reduce loneliness?

Public Health England South West and Arts & Health South West present two webinars.

On 1 October 2019, 12 to 1pm, Martin White, Health and Wellbeing Programme Manager at Public Health England South West, will present the policy context and evidential basis for loneliness and social isolation and its relationship to mental health and wellbeing. Alex Coulter, Director, Arts & Health South West, will talk about the evidence for arts based interventions and the potential for community assets to mitigate the impact of loneliness.

In the second webinar, on 8 October 2019, 12 to 1pm, the discussion will be about the barriers and opportunities for effective practice and collaboration and review some case studies of good practice and the role of social prescribing.
