The Reading Agency has launched a new set of resources for dementia. Reading Well for dementia is part of the national Reading Well Books on Prescription programme. The programme provides recommended reading to help people understand and manage their health and wellbeing. Since 2013, it has been a helpful resource for the UK public with over 3.8 million Reading Well books borrowed from public libraries and 92 per cent of people saying they found their book helpful. Other Reading Well schemes available include Reading for mental health, Reading Well for teens and Reading Well for children.
